Cannabis hits the headlines once again

So Cannabis still ain't killed anyone , and somehow what with the substance being illegal almost everywhere worldwide, Scientists have found more reasons to believe cannabis helps humans. A study tested on two sets of rats has almost proven Cannabis can help heal broken bone fractures. The study was first published in Journal of Bone and Mineral Research  on 10th may 2015 - One set of rats was injected with CBD alone and the other set had a mixture of THC and CBD (Cannabidiol -CBD) (THC-Tetetrahydrocannabinol) While THC gets us high it has been the CBD alone which is beneficial to us. As seen in the first test subject CBD only rats containing Cannabidiol (CBD) it is know known that it will and can lead to improvements in fracture healing.  This means that CBD alone can provide the basis for new mineralization of bone tissue, not only will CBD make a bone harder it will also help prevent further breaks in the future as the bone has become much more tougher. So while that

Scientific explanation on how Cannabis cures cancer

Cannabis linked to school drop outs

A new study of cannabis use has found that those who use the drug before the age of 17 are 2/3s more likely to drop out of school. It was also found that suicide attempts among cannabis users are 7 times more likely. The study was carried out by a team of Australian and New Zealand researchers. It involved an analysis of data from more than 3,700 cannabis users. The study shows cannabis users are more likely to become dependent on cannabis later in life. Other long term effects can result in memory loss ,psychosis & or depression. And Has also found that users are 18 times more likely to become addicted to cannabis and or harder drugs Cannabis has many different effects on different users , depending on what strain or THC levels its really a mystery as to how it affects each of us, as each human has different immune systems. Leading to different reactions. I remember many moons ago, i took a puff of cannabis for first time ever time, without eating breakfast or anythin

Drugs are not the problem

The war on drugs is the reason why so many innocent humans are incarcerated. The system is so wrong & due to the war on drugs been launched it really affected working class areas badly. In terms of drug abuse, robberies, addiction so much has been affected by Mr Nixons stupid plan I.e the war on drugs. Lets stand up for the drug dealers of the world & fight for there rights. Short-Term Effects of Cannabis Therapy on Spasticity in MS

RESULTS: Thirty-seven participants were randomized at the start of the study, 30 of whom completed the trial. Treatment with smoked cannabis resulted in a significant reduction in spasticity using an objective clinician-rated measure. The placebo-controlled trial also resulted in reduced perception of pain, although participants also reported short-term, adverse cognitive effects and increased fatigue. No serious adverse events occurred during the trial. The full results of this study can be found here .http://www.cmaj.ca/content/early/2012/05/14/cmaj.110837 ABSTRACT: Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is the most common debilitating neurologic disease of young people, affecting at least 250,000 persons in the US, often between the ages of 20 and 40. Symptom manifestation varies considerably from person to person; however, one frequently noted concomitant is spasticity, which causes pain, spasms, loss of function and difficulties in nursing care. The present application is designed to expl

Vaporization as a "Smokeless" Cannabis Delivery System

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of a vaporization system (the Volcano; VAPORMED® Inhalatoren) as a “smokeless” delivery system for inhaled marijuana. The study looked at heating marijuana to form a vapor and then comparing drug levels in the blood to those obtained from smoking an identical amount of marijuana from a cigarette. In addition, we compared the tolerability of the two methods and measured expired carbon dioxide to evaluate whether the vaporizer reduces exposure to respiratory toxins. Eighteen healthy subjects were recruited and admitted to the inpatient ward of the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) at San Francisco General Hospital to investigate the delivery of marijuana by vaporization compared to marijuana smoked in a standard cigarette. One dose (1.7, 3.4, or 6.8% tetrahydrocannabinol) and delivery system (smoked marijuana cigarette or vaporization system) was randomly assigned for each of the six study days. The analysis suggests that the

Cannabinoids for Neuropathic Pain.

Treatment options for neuropathic pain have limited efficacy and use is fraught with dose-limiting adverse effects. The endocannabinoid system has been elucidated over the last several years, demonstrating a significant interface with pain homeostasis. Exogenous cannabinoids have been demonstrated to be effective in a range of experimental neuropathic pain models, and there is mounting evidence for therapeutic use in human neuropathic pain conditions. This article reviews the history, pharmacologic development, clinical trials results, and the future potential of nonsmoked, orally bioavailable, nonpsychoactive cannabinoids in the management of neuropathic pain http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25160710?dopt=Abstract http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19789075

Couples who smoke together Stay together

Husbands and wives who frequently smoke cannabis are less likely to engage in domestic violence than those who consume the drug less regularly, a new study has suggested. So that once again proves cannabis should be controlled & regulated like alcohol. to save our communities from further destruction. Research on the association between marijuana use and intimate partner violence (IPV) has generated inconsistent findings, and has been primarily based on cross-sectional data. We examined whether husbands’ and wives’ marijuana use predicted both husbands’ and wives’ IPV perpetration over the first 9 years of marriage (Wave 1, n = 634 couples). We also examined moderation by antisocial behavior, the spouse’s marijuana use, and whether IPV was reported during the year before marriage. These predictive associations were calculated using a time-lagged multivariate generalized multilevel model, simultaneously estimating predictors of husband and wife IPV. In fully adjusted models, we
